About P4 Science
Where it started
P4 Science was founded independently, built upon the first milk-based progesterone lateral flow developed by Ridgeway Research which received the Prince Philip Agricultural Innovation Award in 2012.
Over the years that followed, the test was validated in more than 20 studies across UK, Estonia, Finland, Australia and parts of Africa.
A new chapter, same science
P4 Science Limited was formed to take the technology further and scale it. We’ve brought together the original science with expertise from human diagnostics, moved manufacturing in-house and focused on improving the test design and performance.
We're proud of what the previous versions of the test have achieved and we’re excited for this new chapter as P4 HeatRead™.
Built by us
P4 HeatRead™ is manufactured entirely in the UK. From research and development through to production, every test is now made in-house by our own team.
It means we control quality at every stage, we can respond quickly when something needs improving, and we're not dependent on supply chains we don't own.
All production and manufacturing is to ISO standards too.
